We put Huma's regulator set in the GK1 last week.
It was done in exactly 600 seconds!
So 10 minutes of ‘work’. Since we are not extremely accurate shooters with the GK1, we set the regulator to maximum pressure (150-160 bar) and the power valve to 2 rotations from closed.
Arriving at the club, we had the following plan: Start with JSB King and then test whether our latest slugs from Brazil do well in the regulated GK1 pistols. We had these sizes specially made so it was a real test of performance.
We certainly found out. Almost everyone got curious who was standing there on the small-calibre range with those loud bangs and that loud ‘WHACK’ in the sand at the end of the 25-metre range.
Hihi, well: So that was us. Those slugs worked perfectly, even the 48 grainers. Those are the heaviest slugs that fit in.
The downside: Everyone wanted to shoot, of course :-). And they were extremely surprised by the Huben GK1. What a powerful pistol, it gives more recoil than a standard .22LR pistol with high velocity bullets in it! And it barks a lot heavier and louder. In short: everyone happy!
