Cool word eh?! Sitrep... It means situation report and is often used in emergency situations. And: That is what we have here :-). A while ago I shot the first time with slugs with the Air Maks Arms KraitX with the longest CZ barrel and the largest carbon bottle.
It performed okay. Now: That is unusual. Let's face it: All those beautiful high powered 'slug' guns... Just don't perform good when you shoot long range with slugs. Yep, Youtube never says that... But: Believe me, they just don't group tight. So: That the Krait X did okay is an exeption.
We took it apart to understand it better. And: Wow... This is a great gun, much smarter then you would expect. You can finetune the regulator, the hammerspring and the valvereturnspring.
We decided to mount the Huma regulator and: Bingo it transformed from 'Okay' to 'Superbe'.
The secret: Put the Huma reg on 110 bar... The large plenum of 60cc combined with the long barrel does the rest. JSB Knockout .216 MK2 flies at 293 meters/second and that is ideal. The grouping started to get tighter and tighter. And this was in a cold situation. Also not good for pcp barrels. The colder the poorer your accuracy will get. But: With this behavior we are very happy!
