Note: A power tuning kit may be required for maximum power. If you want to shoot with a softer recoil, you can also purchase tuning kits for that purpose.
For precision shooting, we still recommend setting the pressure slightly below the maximum. The manufacturer advises not to set the adjustable regulator pressure higher than 170 bar. They come factory-set to 150 bar as standard. You can easily adjust the pressure using the included tool. You will need to use the included additional pressure gauge with the included adapter.
About the magazines: Although the manufacturer specifies that one magazine is for slugs and the other for pellets, you should simply see what fits best in both magazines. Too tight isn’t good, but too loose isn’t good either. In .22, we’ve had excellent results so far with the Huben Peanut slug in the “pellet magazine.” The .30 models are calibrated for JSB’s heavy .30 pellets. Every Slash we sell has undergone a factory test cycle of 10 full magazines!
