HikMicro Pro 940 nm IR Illuminator.
This HikMicro Pro 940 nm IR illuminator can be used in combination with a night vision device. A night vision device amplifies ambient light to produce a clearly visible image that is much harder to see with the naked eye. If there is no ambient light—for example, because a thick cloud cover is obscuring the moon and stars—this IR illuminator can be a solution. It emits infrared radiation in the direction you point the illuminator, which is then clearly visible through a night vision device.
That infrared radiation—which comes from an LED lamp—has a wavelength of 940 nm (nanometers), which is too long to be visible to the naked eye. As a result, the subject being observed will not notice the HikMicro Pro 940 nm IR Illuminator. The illuminator has a range of 200 meters.
This infrared illuminator weighs 150 grams, making it easy to hold in your hand or mount on a night vision device. It operates for up to 5.5 hours on a fully charged HM-3632DC battery or a fully charged HM-3633DC battery, both of which are sold separately.
