When a government agency representative asked us why the BT27 didn’t offer a 45-degree position, Atlas didn’t have an answer. Now we do! The newly designed BT27 folding front handle features two opposing flat surfaces for securing light switches using the installed Buna O-rings. If you remove the lower cover, you’ll see a storage compartment designed for a single 123 battery. The unique design protects the battery from draining by positioning the positive (+) side toward the vented cover. We’ve also trimmed the handle to reduce weight while retaining the battery storage and touchpad mounts.
Mounts on a standard 1913 Picatinny rail. Made of 6061-T6 aluminum with Mil-Spec Type III hard anodizing.
