De HEL in Dongen, October 25, 2025
Sorry for the Halloween-esque headline, but: On October 25, a 100-meter competition was held at the Dongen shooting range, organized by the 100-meter crew.
And that’s where it can (and will) always haunt us. A half-open field. Those who’ve served in the military still remember it. Or have pushed it out of their minds.
Potvolkoffie: Just imagine the wind and rain you might run into. And, well, yes, at the end of October, there’s a good chance you’ll have terrible weather on the course. So hats off to the shooters who showed up.
And some great news: Stefan “Pisti” took home first prize in the “naked” class! No external tanks with adjustable regulators or anything like that.
It's simple: Just fill the Mora with air and start shooting.
Stefan: Congratulations! And may you have many more occasions like this.
Sure: A Mora STD 5.5mm with a good Sightron SIII 8-32 scope and Altaros slugs helps, but: The man behind the trigger determines the final result. And that man’s name is: STEFAN!
Are you guys going shooting this weekend too? :)
